It's been a very long time since I've done this format, but I have to admit that I've missed it. I'm an incredibly shy person to the point I struggle with talking to people online or putting myself out there on social media. My general twitter experience is retweeting pretty artwork and if I actually type something into that post box you better believe I sit on it for five minutes while my brain attempts to talk me out of it a million times.

But the journal format always feels more comfortable for me. There's not really a potential audience of a million people and I always prefer long form because my ass is verbose lol.

Anyway, I love Persona 5, Bully, Dragon Age, DND, and victorian and medieval aesthetics. I imagine most of what I'll post here will revolve around those things and fanfic. While I've not written properly in a good long while, fanfic is definitely where I enjoy contributing the most. I'm an overly romantic person who likes to wax poetically about anything and everything.

I'm also super great at rambling and realizing right about now that I've strayed in a weird direction XD.

I think it'd be nice to do fanfic retrospectives here as well as do rec lists! I miss those a lot! I don't read just a ton these days, but the things I do love I want to gush about.

And while I haven't had any luck/response, I might still create a Bully fan community in the hopes that it gets found. I've always had a deep fondness for that video game, and there definitely seems to be a small renaissance for it that I've seen on tumblr. I've enjoyed replaying it, I've written a couple of fics for it, and I find myself constantly thinking about writing more. So we'll see if I can find the energy and time to set that up.

Otherwise, I'm just focusing on my DMing. I'm probably about half-way through a homebrew campaign setting with my friends. It's my first time being a DM, and it's been so amazing and rewarding, as well as exhausting. Maybe I can even talk about some of my worldbuilding here.

For now though, I should sleep. I've just been well overdue in finally writing a first entry. I'm calmly optimistic about using this type of platform again.

In closing, a thing I learned today: In the 1920s, as hem lines got a little shorter, dancers and rebellious women would 'rouge their knees', using blush or other cosmetics to make their knees have a cute, healthy sort of blush since they were more visible at that time in history.

We all deserve cute, blushy knees. <3
