A Different Kind of Star by Hotsuqueen
Persona 5, Iwai/Akira, T rating, genderswapped Akira, Post-Canon
I would recommend pretty much everything Hotsuqueen has ever written, but this one in particular was written just for me and tailored perfectly. They capture the essence of Iwai to me. They get the gruff, tired dad vibes mixed with sexual and romantic crisis, with a heaping side of mundane life that I live for! It is, in my opinion, the very best post-game Iwai/Akira out there.

Persona 5/Devil Survivor, Akira/Kazuya, M Rating, During Canon, literally magical meet cute
On the same note, I'm also so very, very enthralled by how they write the protagonist of Devil Survivor. They are wholly unique, colorful, relatable, and yet extraordinary. And in these fics he is just the most easy to love, flirtatious all-powerful demon god you could imagine. I also just absolutely love this crossover pairing! They are perfect for one another. 10/10
Yesterday and Tomorrow by Decay
Persona 5, Iwai/Akira, T Rating, Action, Metaverse Shenanigans, Wound Care
Another beautifully tailored Iwai/Akira gift that I cannot gush about enough. If you want action, hurt/comfort, and quietly intense romance then this is the fic for you! Another wonderfully well written Iwai, and Akira is adventurous and fun and foolhardy. Just *chef's kiss*
Fire, Walk With Me by Khirsah
Dragon Age II, Fenris/Male Hawke, M Rating, AU - Soulmates, Slow Burn, Lots and lots of hurt
This is my favorite Fenhawke fic. I reread this one constantly. The author captures a level of intensity that is gripping as hell. I feel like I'm on the edge of my seat even though I know how it goes. XD It's got beautiful descriptions, and they really paint a picture with details, paying loving attention to the characters. It has gothic notes to it that I super enjoy, and the sexual tension is sweltering.
The Other Hawke by Tanukiham
Dragon Age II, Fenris/Carver, E Rating, Canon Retelling and later Canon Divergence
This fic is what truly made me love Carver as a character. The authors that are always most notable in my mind are the ones that shed light on certain characters and use canon details to create an even more vivid and relatable character. The story of DAII through Carver's eyes is fascinating and extraordinary to me. And his relationship with Fenris (and all of his other romances throughout the story) are all done so well that I was immersed and rooting for each and every one. Including his friendships! This story made me care so hard that I, to this day, cannot think of this character, without thinking of this fic in the same breath. It's a masterpiece.
